The origins of the Rodman Group date back to 1974, when Manuel Rodríguez, the current president of the Group, founded Rodman Naval and Industrial Constructions, starting his activity in shipbuilding. Over these years, more than 13,000 vessels have been built and delivered to the Group's shipyards. This record and experience has enabled the Group to be one of the most consolidated shipbuilding groups at European level. The Rodman Group is currently the oldest company in Spain in its sector with an uninterrupted activity package for 42 years.

The Rodman Group presents the most diversified and versatile product supply in the sector, has become the intangible asset where its true know-how resides. High quality standards, maximum safety and best navigability, those are the attributes of the Rodman brand. The activities of the Rodman Group are aimed at the construction of ships, with a wide range of length and built in different materials: ships built in steel and vessels in polyester in which both professional nautical and recreational vessels are included.

The three divisions of the company - steel, professional and recreational nautical ships - embody the plurality of the Rodman Group's offer. Thus, in its different shipyards, they are produced from patrol in PRFV up to 30 meters to steel vessels up to 170 meters long, passing through fishing vessels in PRFV over 36 meters long, race ships like the Rioja de España (Copa América) or recreational boats of any of its three different ranges: Rodman MUSE, Rodman SPIRIT or Rodman FISHER & CRUISER.

With five factories spread between Spain and Portugal, the group has the largest industrial area in the sector, adding a total of 240,000 m2. Of these, 66,000 m2 are covered area, enabling an ambitious international expansion plan aimed at achieving an export ratio of 85% in the medium term. The total surface area is divided between Metalships & Dinks in Vigo, Rodman Polyships in Moaña, Rodman Lusitania in Valença do Minho, Conafi in Vila Real de San Antonio and Neuvisa in El Rosal. These enclaves include the newly opened Rodman Lusitania shipyard. This new installation represents the company's boom and leadership vision. Equipped with the most modern and advanced equipment and production systems in Europe, its industrial capacity leads the national market.
