China builds a replica of the Titanic at real size

The construction of a real-size replica of the Titanic, the transatlantic whose shipwreck in 1912 resulted in the death of more than 1,500 people in the central province of Sichuan, was reported by the local press this Thursday. The promoters of the work expect it to become a tourist attraction. The ship with the same length 270 meters and 28 meters manga as the original, will be thrown into a reservoir in the town of Daying, where it will remain permanently docked. It will be part of the luxury tourist resort called Seven Star International. The ship's construction company, Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, promised that the ship will be faithful to the original design, so it will have a party room, theatre, swimming pool and first-class rooms where you will try to recreate the lifestyle of passengers over a century ago. The work, which was assisted by British and American designers, will cost about 1 billion yuan ($145 million).
