"Arkema 3" the monotype of the immediate future

Arkema is making progress in state-of-the-art technologies as far as navigation is concerned. The prototype "Arkema 3" with an innovative design is an important challenge, highlighting the construction of a monocasco that is fully recyclable, due to the advances of the Arkema technical team. Based on their experience with the Multi50 trimaran... Arkema and Team Lalou Multi have designed a prototype of class Mini 6.50. Plantations have been preserved with a proven trimaran history, in particular the structural methacrylate adhesives and the Altuglas ® ShieldUp acrylic glass. New products have been applied in the prototype, such as the Bostik, Bostik tails recently incorporated into the Group, and the Eium ® recyclable resin.

The construction of this ship was planned from the beginning as a true research project. The Eium ® resin, for example, recently removed from Arkema's laboratories, had never been used in this type of manufacture. This large-scale test has allowed the Group to save months of development.
