Figaro 3 has been officially presented at the Nautical Hall in Paris

Figaro Bénéteau 3 will be the first monocasco to be built in series with the world's foils. In the 2019 edition of the Regata de Solitarios de Le Figaró that will celebrate its 50th anniversary this true machine will replace Figaró 2 which is the ship on which it is currently competing. The official presentation at the Nautical Hall in Paris highlighted the close work between the Chantiers Beneteau and the naval architects Van Peteghem and Lauriot-Prévost."The challenge was very demanding," said the naval architect Vicente Lauriot-Prévost... "the aim was to make a boat as successful and as reliable as Figaro Bénéteau 2. We have to work in a team with the specialists of the Beneteau Group, to manage to design a high-tech ship that can be assumed with a series manufacturing process."
