The Competitions Committee of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation has launched the Tecnification Plan for the Olympic cycle 2017-2020. To the concentration held at the CAR Region of Murcia (Los Alcázares) last October for the individual classes, a concentration that takes place from 7 to 11 December in the Barcelona International Sailing Center (Barcelona) for the double and Techno classes. All in youth categories.

The double classes called in Barcelona are: 29er sub19 (coaches Roy Alonso / Toni Rivas), 420 sub19 (coach Santi-Lopez- Vázquez), 470 sub24 (coach Carlos Llamas) and 49er and FX sub24 (coach Pepe Lis). The Techno 293 sub 16 and sub 17 class has also been incorporated (coach Alex Guyader) which could not be performed in Murcia due to the match of dates with its World Cup. Within these concentrations, a series of theoretical classes on Nutrition and Physical Preparation (Diego Quintana), Psychology (Miquel Salom) and Regulations of Competitions and Regates (Diego Yubero) are also carried out in addition to sports training in water and ground with video visualization and breefings. The call is open to the first crews of the national ranking, then other crews will be invited according to class at the technical criteria of the technical directors of the Autonomous Federations.
