About 60 snipes in Santiago de la Ribera, in the memory race of Marcial Sánchez Barcaiztegui

The fifth edition of the Memorial Admiral D. Marcial Sánchez Barcaiztegui Aznar- XXXVIII Spanish Navy Trophy was held in Santiago de la Ribera, with a great success of participation (about 60 ships) and very adjusted final victory, as it equated in score with the second classified, of the "Maximo" of Raúl de Valenzuela and Alejandro Fresneda of the Club de Mar de Almería. The second square was for José María Guerrero and Francisco Martón-Lagos del Real Club Mediterrana de Málaga and the third for Martín Bermudez and Angela Pumariega of Real Club Náutico de Madrid- Real Club Astur de Gijón.

In the Memorial Admiral Marcial Sánchez Bazcartegui-Trofeo Armañola de Snipe, Pérez left the post of president of the RCR Santiago de la Ribera after two terms. He was the subject of a tribute by the Federation of Madrilestra
