The nautical professional Victor Montero and the engineer doctor Vicent Esteban represented our country in Salvador de Bahia

The Asturian Víctor Montero considered and recognized as one of the most qualified experts in the Spanish nautical sector and the Valencian Vicent Esteban Chapapria director of the College of Engineers of Caminos, Canales and Ports of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, have participated as speakers for our country in the first edition of the Congress of Nautical Economic Development that has been held in the Brazilian town of Salvador de Bahia, and which was opened by its mayor, to which was accompanied by various authorities such as the Minister of Tourism of Brazil, the commander of the Second Naval Zone (equivalent to a captain general in Spain and the Secretary of State of Tourism). Among the topics dealt with "Strategy of development of the nautical economy of the city of Salvador de Bahia"; "The model of nautical development in Spain" which was carried out by Victor Montero; "Public policies for the nautical sector," "European nautical market - The current situation of marketing, occupation and construction of seaports and their performance in the face of trade, industry and services" by Vicent Esteban and "Brazilian nautical market."
