Don Juan Carlos, as the patron of the "Bribon Movistar," was proclaimed in Sanxenxo the winner of the 2016 Circuit of 6 meters

The last test of the 6M National Circuit was held in Sanxenxo on a barlovento-sotavento tour in which Peter Dubens's "Alibabá II," patroned on this occasion by Victor Mariño, won with more than a minute of advantage. The Viguese patron and his crew managed to keep the distance with their main rivals: the "Aida" of Juan Carlos Escotet and Francisco Botas, the "Bribon Movistar," the "Erica" of Violeta Álvarez and the "Caprice" of the shipowner José Luis Angoso and patronized by Iñigo Echenique, who had to go back after performing an off-line. The race began at 12: 20 in the vicinity of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, with about 18 knots of medium and thick sea due to the temporary fort that during the weekend hit the coast of the Rías Baixas and Galicia in general.

Only the British "Alibabá II" by Peter Dubens was able to follow the rhythm of the ship of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, winning in two tests of the seven of the circuit: the Prince of Asturias Trophy in Baiona and the last test played yesterday in Sanxenxo.
