José Ramón Lete Lasa has been officially confirmed as Secretary of State for Sport and President of the High Council of Sports, replacing Miguel Cardenal who had submitted his resignation on Tuesday, November 8. José Ramón Lete was the "godfather" in the presentation of Digital Nautics last June at the Marin Naval School, and has since its inception supported the Caixanova Week of the Atlantic, now the Abanca Week. One of his latest official acts as a xeral secretary for or sport in Galicia was the award of the Galician rowing awards that officially closed the 2016 Abanca Week.
