The frigate "Admiral Juan de Borbón" and the "Cantabria" (Armada-MDE) also participated in the exercise.

The "Victoria" frigate participated in the Joint Warrior-162 (JW-162) maneuvers, which were developed in northern Scotland, with the main objective of increasing the degree of interoperability between allied naval units and improving the level of joint training. The exercise also included the "Admiral Juan de Borbon" frigate as the command ship of the NATO Permanent Naval Group number 1 and the "Cantabria" combat supply ship integrated into the NATO Permanent Naval Group number 2. The head of the 41st Escoltas Squad was on board the Spanish frigate and acted as commander of a group of escorts, as part of the pre-certification training as the General Staff. In addition, the "Victoria" frigate has had an air unit aboard the Tenth Air Squad and Navy personnel.

After more than 10 years, the frigate Victoria had the opportunity to perform naval fire exercises to support the coast. The observations and corrections of the shooting during the execution of the naval support fire at the Cape WRATH site were made by the Control and Coordination of Fire Support team of the Disembarkation Artillery Group, previously on the ground, which was a great opportunity for training. Once the exercises were completed, the frigate "Victoria" emphasized in Dublin, where she was visited by the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy, accompanied by the Counsellor for Consular and Administrative Affairs.

The 'Victoria' is the second of the six frigates that make up the F-80 series. Built in the shipyard of the Bazán de Ferrol National Company (Navantia), it was delivered to the Navy in 1987. It has a length of 138 meters and more than 4,000 tons of displacement. It is equipped with sensors and weapons that allow it to develop its main tasks as an ocean escort ship. Its strength is more than 200 men and women.
