The Valencia Boat Show has welcomed the presentation of the X Nautical Salon of Denia and the latest book by journalist Eric Frattini. From the hand of the School of Sailing, they start school activities. The Association of Nautical Clubs of the Valencia Community will present its analysis of the summer campaign and the evolution of the nautical sector.

During this week the Valencia Boat Show is a meeting point of the national nautical sector, and hosts various presentations, activities and agreements. Following the announcement yesterday afternoon of the opening of a new office in Valencia of the new distributor of Bavaria, the British company Clipper Marine, this morning the Valencian living room hosted the presentation of the X Salon Náutico de Denia, which will be held from 28 April to 1 May in the Marina de Denia. Following this presentation, journalist Eric Frattini presented his last book, "The Island of the Next Day." In addition, throughout the morning and on the occasion of the Valencia Boat Show, the Municipal Scola de Vela has held sea exits with schoolchildren on collective sailing and pyranguas, as well as workshop of knots and visits to the Tirant I Goleta, with the aim of making the sea and water sports known to the younger.

This morning, the Valencia Boat Show hosted the presentation of the X Salon Náutico de Denia, which was attended by the director of the Salon and the Marina de Denia, Gabriel Martínez, who commented that "we like to define our living room as the heading for success. Ten years ago, when we launched the first edition, we set a course and, logically, we intended it to go towards success. Navigation has not been easy since in 2006 the nautical sector was very hit by the economic crisis and was not the best time to embark on this journey. Our living room was born in a circumstantial way, at a time when we understood it was necessary for professionals who were located in our port. We wanted, through a nautical hall, to give visibility to the nautical companies".

Tomorrow Thursday will be the turn of the Association of Nautical Clubs of the Valencia Community, which will present at 11: 30 hours its analysis of the summer campaign and the evolution of the water sector, models of use, tourism development and user profiles, as well as the brakes and challenges of the clubs and companies of the sector for the coming years. Jordi Carrasco, manager of the Association of Nautical Clubs of the Valencia Community, will be in charge of the presentation.

Journalist Eric Frattini also today presented his last book, "The Island of the Next Day," in which he recounts the four-month journey he made in the Pacific 24 years ago. The presentation of the book has been in charge of the journalist specialized in sailing Nacho Gomez-Zarzuela, and the regatist Diego Fructuoso, one of the members of the 2010 Transatlantic Pelayo Challenge that will sail next Sunday at 12: 00 from the Valencia Boat Show.

"We have chosen the Valencia Boat Show for the presentation of the book and for the departure of the Transatlantic Pelayo Challenge 2016 mainly because of the impact, because you bring together a lot of people from the world of nautical, and the adventure we are going to make of the Pelayo Challenge Life, as it is a nautical theme in which five women who have overcome cancer will cross the Atlantic. All the people gathered here are people from the world of nautical and sea and this book is a story about the lovers of navigation," said Eric Frattini during the presentation.
