The Gala del Remo Gallego- Concello de Marín closed for the second consecutive year the week Abanca, a gala in which hundreds of regatists and fans from all over the rowing of Galicia were gathered, with special incidence in the three maritime provinces. The great star among the 25 winners, was Rodrigo Conde World Champion Sub23 who received the greatest ovation of the night, in a crowded auditorium of the Illa Institute of Tambo of Marín. The Moañés competes for the Club de Remo Robaleira de La Guardia, the club that was the most awarded, with five mentions. He also highlighted the potential for the future of one of the most emblematic clubs of the Galician rowing: the San Felipe de Ferrol Remo Club that became a creditor to four awards: Best Club in the categories of male, male children, male cadet and female youth.

Arturo Abruñedo was recognized as the technician of the year in charge of the Club de Remo de la Robaleira de La Guardia, which also received the awards as Best Club, both female and male. The award-winning batels were "Vilaxoán" and "Rianxo," after taraineiriñas "Mecos-O Grove" and "Cabo de Cruz-Boiro" and in traineras were both female and male Cabo de Cruz... in yolas the mentions for Cedeira (who was very applauded for her veteranship) and Remo de Tui.

The event was closed by the general secretary of the Abanca Week, Manuel Pedro Seoane, with the historic phrase of the Guild of Mareantes of Pontevedra:"The ways of the sea are done by rowing".
