The Eldorado Resort de Cambrils Summer complex and the Nàutic Cambrils Club are organizing the 16th European Cup from Sailing to Sailing. From Saturday October 29 to Monday 31 about 80 participants will compete on the beach of the Llosa, just in front of the Eldorado Resort Summer complex, where the race field will be mounted. A date for all lovers and curious in the sailing world.

The 16th European Cup of Sailing Skates is organized by the Eldorado Resort Summer Hotel Complex and the Nàutic Cambrils Club. The City Council of Cambrils, the International Sports Association of Satin to Sail and the Catalan Sailing Federation are collaborating.
The skate to Vela is a light sailing boat born on the beaches of Barceloneta and Badalona in the 1928-29 years, when a crab candle was added to the paddle skates that were rented on the beaches at that time. Its acceptance grew rapidly and the first documented race dates from July 31, 1932 in Arenys de Mar. In 1951, the International Sports Association of Sailing Skates, ADIPAV, was founded, bringing together all skates owners. The ADIPAV currently monitors more than 3,000 skates distributed by Catalonia, Andalusia, Valencia, Balearic Islands and Murcia. We can find fleets abroad in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France.
During the three days, more than 350 people between participants and members of the technical body will stay at the facilities of the Eldorado Resort Summer. A recently renovated and expanded hotel complex that offers all the guarantees at the level of space and comfort so that all participants can enjoy their privileged facilities in front of the sea.
This year the European Cup comes to its 16th edition. It is a very special edition because it is the first time that Cambrils has hosted the organization of this competition that attracts athletes and followers from all over Europe. France and Belgium have so far been the countries that have mostly hosted this race.
