The Assembly and the Commission Delegate of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation (RFEV) approved at the various meetings held on 21 and 22 October at the federal headquarters all the points provided for in the Agenda, which included economic, sports and management aspects of the current Board of Directors and also for the future of the federation itself for the imminent election. A total of 49 members of the assembly attended, among the present and delegated votes, of the 77 of which it was formed. The president, Julia Casanueva, reported that the priorities that in her day were targeted for this cycle have all been met. It also indicated that the 2015 accounts could not be approved prior to the CSD's pending audit through BDO, and that it was not submitted until last September 30. Following the presentation of the state of the economic situation, the 2015 Economic Report, State of Accounts and Balance was approved. Economic Vice President Javier Sanz announced a surplus at the end of last year of 41,754 euros and an estimate of closure in 2016 of 130,000 euros. Taking into account that, at the time of taking up the Casanueva post and its Board of Directors, there was a significant property debt to an almost bankrupt federation. The Assembly, with 47 votes in favour and 2 abstentions, ratified and expressed support for the current Board of Directors in all its decisions taken by applauding the consolidation in the accounts carried out.
