"Concise" in ORC1 wins Juan Fernández in Cartagena

The Saturday day was left blank in the absence of wind, so on Sunday the coastal race was disputed with 10.5 miles for all classes except for the ORC 4 that completed a tour of 8.6 nautical miles
Concise in ORC 1, El Carmen in ORC 2, Enewtec in ORC and Pacharan in ORC 4 were made this Sunday with the XXII Juan Fernández Regata, Ilustres de Cartagena, Trofeo Estrella Levante by imposing on the only test that could be completed, disputed on a coastal tour on the Sunday day of 10.5 miles for all except for the ORC 4 that completed 8.6 nautical miles. The opening day, Saturday, October 23, was blank in the face of the total lack of wind. The race organized by the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena, with 45 registered ships was somewhat flattened by the weather conditions on the Saturday day, so everything was still pending better conditions on the Sunday day that were the right ones for the cruise fleet, with wind of 14 knots of intensity on a 220th axis (SW-Southwest), although with deep sea and some instability that forced the crews to make an effort.
In class ORC 1 the podium, after obtaining the compensated times, was closed with Concessa of Jesus Sanchez using a time of 3h.36 '01 ", followed by Sirius V of the Spanish Navy and Svinga of Luciano Garña. As for the class ORC 2, the winner was El Carmen, armed by José Coello, who closed the chrono of the 10.5 miles in 3h.32' 48. The second square was for Dieselrec by Manuel Gambín followed by Inma by Andrés Durán. In ORC 3 Enewtec took the trophy with a time 3h.54 '48." After him, Zalata of Esther Villalba and Trebol Queen II of Arturo Garcia were classified. The children of Pablo Balsalobre with Pacharan were left with the first place in ORC 4 after obtaining the compensated times. The Balsalobre crew used 04h.05' 21 "to complete the 8.6 miles of the tour. The second podium was for Tenton de Gonzalo Abad, so the third place was for Garola III of Aureliano Gómez.

The XXII Regata Juan Fernández, Ilustres Navigantes de Cartagena, Gran Trofeo Estrella Levante opens the cruise season at the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena. The test that is disputed this weekend, October 22 and 23, is accurate and valid evidence for the first delivery of Act I of the XXVII Return to the Island, emblematic and historical regatta of the club CartagJanuary. They also feature in the other classes units that are already common in the podium, case of Dieselrec, Cañas II, Inma, Zalata, Trebol Queen II or Pinto Tercera among others. In the beginning, wind races (barlovento-sotavento) are planned for the Saturday day, while by Sunday it is planned to complete a coastal tour. In both days the top of departure has been established at 11: 30.
