"Solventis" of the Monte Real Club of Yates of Baiona with Eduardo Mosquera to the cane has been proclaimed winner of the Regata Teras Gauda Carrís Hotels that has organized the Nautical Club of Sada, sixth cycle of the Abanca Week that will conclude next Saturday with the Galicia de Bateles Cup and the Gala del Remo, to be held in the town of Pontevedresa of Marín. "Solventis" was able to impose itself on the class of great lengths, while the victory in ORC B was for the "Alma do Mar" of Nito Enriquez of the host club and the ORC for the "Argallan" patroned by Domingo Planas of the Club Marítimo de Oza. In the other categories, the best was the "No Problem" of Gerardo Lugris de Sada, in two "O Riás" of Ramón Carnota of the Sporting Casino Club of La Coruña and in sub23 the gold was for "La María" of Miguel Fernández also of Sada.
A lot of wind in which Sunday day, which with punctuality began at 12 hours: winds that were 12 knots that would gradually rise to reach 15 and at times 25 of a southern component. The judges chose a route close to 15 miles, between Sada- beacon de desmarca-beacon de desmarca-beacon de desmarca-ares- sada-Ares and arrival in Sada. In the exit the visors give off-line to the "Inosa" which would weigh like a slab on one of the favorites with Cándido Losada to the cane. The winners of the Rías Altas 2016 had to return what would cause him to lose a few precious minutes. To highlight the great exit of "Solventis" that was taking over the command, while "Mirfak" went out on the "bad side" and was also "covered" by several ships among them by the "Mascato" that was patrolling by Enrique Vilariño was carrying out a large board in search of the dismantling beacon located a mile from the exit.
He gradually became the leader in real time, the Farr 42 of Diego López, a privileged situation he would keep to the end, crossing the line of arrival with a splendid chrono of 01-55-00. After the "sailors" they entered in this order "Solventis" and later the "Inosa." With these times, he dominated in compensation the ship of the Mount Real Club of Yates of Baiona, while the silver was for "Mirfak" and the bronze for a "Inosa" that was not lucky in this Regata Terras Guda. In the batch of ORC B, the intermediate ships in length, excellent "Alma do Mar" of Nito Enriquez de Sada that overtook the "Golafre II" of Netes, making with the victory in the class... a good "villain" was made with the bronze in the division. To highlight among the B's the participation of the "Nostromo" who competed for the Nautical Club of Sada and the Maritime Liceo of Bouzas, being patronized by Enrique Tostado (president of the Nautico of Sada) and counting by crew five patterns of many other Vigo ships, including Juan Pazó, Manolo Veiga (vice president of the Liceo), Rafa Martínez Almeida, Miguel Pereira (comodoro del Liceo) and Juan Campos "Norín." The Nautico de Sada and the Liceo de Bouzas are in the process of "twinning." The "Nostromo" was fourth among the 11 participants in this category.
The veteran "Argallán" dominated among the little ones, ahead of "Salao" and "Mascato" of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña. In summary excellent first edition of the Regata Terras Gauda-Carrises Hotels in Coruñese waters, with many ships, a great level and a difficult but spectacular closing day. The Abanca Week continues towards its end, as far as 2016 is concerned: the next and last for in Marín, in the Ria de Pontevedra with the rowing in action.

1st Day: The wind is missing the quote of the Regata Terras Gauda - Carrisis Hotels in Sada
More than 40 ships are participating in the Gauda-Carris Hotel Terras Regata, which began in the Coruñés port of Sada with the organization of the Nautical Club and the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week. The judges, in view of the possibility of a lack of wind, had chosen minutes before three in the afternoon for a 13-mile tour to be completed between Sada- Ares- Sada- Networks and return to Sada... but all attempts were useless because after more than three hours of navigation, the large fleet had only covered five miles. At the time that the jurors decided to cancel the first test, Punta Promontorio had reached the ship of the Spanish Navy based in Ferrol "Mirfak" patrolled by Diego López. Second was the great favorite, the "Solventis" with Eduardo Mosquera to the cane of Mount Real Club of Yates of Baiona and third the winner of the 2016 Rías Altas Regata, the "Inosa," armed by Edreira with Cándido Losada to the cane and the vigués Carlos Sampedro Curbera as tactical. For the second day of Sunday of this Regata Terras Gaudas, presumably with a lot of wind based on the weather forecast announced that it may be between 10 to 25 miles by the Rías de Ares, Sada and A Coruña, depending on the route chosen by the judges as 15 possible. The start at 12: 00 in the morning.
At three in the afternoon the departmental Pedro Fernández Alarcón began the procedure after choosing the number six route: a 13-mile route which he considered to be suitable given the wind conditions at those times: winds from the south of ten knots... but everything came gradually down because little by little, the wind decreased, to the point that at the time of the bocinazo of departure was only six knots and the first stretch of one mile after the beacon of dismantling was a calvary for the fleet. The best way out was made by "Solventis" which made it more ground-bound, to Sada, but a well fell which used "Inosa" to take over the control half of the route of dismantling, a domain that would later have in "Mirfak" the relief. From there with the fleet sailing at about three knots it went to Punta Promontorio just over four miles from the exit, and it was "Mirfak" the first to reach it, but already at the edge of seven in the afternoon... and it was decided that it would be reasonable to cancel and that on Sunday the script would be written again. By the way, at the edge of seven o'clock in the afternoon and chaired by the Mayor of Sada Benito Portela, the closing ceremony of this Regata Terras Gauda- Carris Hotels sixth cycle of the Abanca Week will be held at the Nautical Club of Sada.

The event with the support of the Italian multinational Navionics, as well as with the support of Abanca, Terras Gauda, Carris Hoteles, Gadis and Bonilla in sight; it has been a great deal among the fans, because the Ria de Sada at this time of year is unsurpassed in performance for a cruise race, being the aim of the organizers to reach the number of the 50 ships, which would be a great record for a cruise race.
