On November 28, the current and online course of "Energy Auditor," which will take place in the CITEXVI building, Campus Universitario de Vigo, will begin. The Royal Decree 56 / 2016 of 12 February 2016, which partially transposes energy efficiency Directive 2012 / 27 / EU, requires all non-SME companies from 13 February 2016 to carry out regular energy audits of their facilities every four years or to implement an energy or environmental management system, provided that the management system includes an energy audit, all of which within a maximum period of 9 months before 13 November.

The final objective of this course in the training of energy professionals in the development of energy audits in the field of building and industry. The course will be tutorized (online part) and taught (face-to-face part) by highly qualified teachers with extensive experience in the performance of Energy Audits. In addition, these teachers are certified CMVP (Certified Measurement & Verification Professional) of the International Protocol for the Measurement and Verification of Energy Savings (IPMVP).

In the face-to-face part, a number of visits to the actual facilities will be made to provide the most practical knowledge possible to the students. In these visits, students will make real-time and real-time measurements with the necessary equipment for the development of an Energy Audit.
