ANAVRE continues to expand its presence in the national territory, in September the delegate is joined in Huelva and the delegates of Málaga and Cantabria will soon be joined.
The Association of Recreation Navigators (ANAVRE) continues to expand its presence in the national territory with the addition of a new delegate in Huelva and the delegates of Malaga and Cantabria will soon be joined. As a member of the EBA (European Boating Association), the Association of Recreation Navigators (ANAVRE) is part of the working group on Mediterranean affairs composed of representatives of Turkey, Italy and Spain. Gustavo Navarro, its president, has explained the new challenges facing this nautical sector in our country. The new Board of Directors has four main objectives:
1) The promotion of sports and recreational nautical in all its forms
2) Realize the enactment of specific regulations for the regulation of recreational nautical
3) Making the Association a source of information and improvement for the development of nautical activity
4) Joint action with similar associations from other countries.
According to Navarro, in the Balearic Islands, at present the sensitive point is the subject of posidonia. ANAVRE (as a representative of the state-level recreational navigators), and in conjunction with other associations and entities related to the ballistic navigation, are working to ensure the good condition of these seabed and the restoration of the most altered, by various factors such as discharges, organic pollution, public works and large-boat fondeans, among others."For this new stage, ANAVRE's main approach remains to work with the Administration to Europeanize our security regulations, making it more coherent. It's costing us, but we're on the right track. We will continue to work in joint actions with similar associations from other countries", says Navarro.
As a member of the EBA (European Boating Association), ANAVRE is working on the working group on Mediterranean affairs composed of representatives of Turkey, Italy and Spain. Significant progress has been made on a particularly important issue, to raise awareness of pollution in the Mediterranean Sea, because of the number of countries on its bank and the fact that it is a confined area. It has been agreed to prepare a joint action, the destination of the campaign is precisely for users who do not sail, according to statistical data the community of recreational sailors represents 0.1% of the pollution at sea, while 80% of pollution in the Mediterranean Sea comes from land. It is vital to have the help of all to provide solutions to this problem. One of the objectives is to attract new partners, creating activities of interest to the partner in collaboration with other entities.
