Today begins in San Juan, the Second World Cup (Jorge Amaya)

The Argentine town of San Juan is the stage in which the Copas del Mundo de Estado Libre are being held, where the RFEP is represented by four palists: Adriá Ovando in K-1 júnior, Oriol Colomé in K-1 sénior, and Silvia Gallego and Kira Carreto in K-1 female. Júnior Adriá Ovando has won a silver medal in his trial, only from behind and very close to the current European champion, the French Tom Dolle. Oriol Colomé has also gone up to the podium, hanging a bronze medal in K-1. The gold has been for the Polish Tomasz Czaplicki and the silver for the Argentine Maximilian Montoya. Less luck have run the girls in K-1; Kira Carreto has been 6th and Silvia Galician 8th, with 75 and 73 points respectively.
