"Central theme of the expansion of the port of Bilbao," for more than 125 M €, the largest work of all the tenderers

The total number of ports of general interest under the Central Government has been awarded projects of €547,95 between January and September 2016, an increase of 37,8% over the €397,6 M in the same period of 2015.

By Harbour Authorities, Bilbao (145 M €), Barcelona (121.3 M €) and Ferrola-San Cibrao (119.6 M €) have been the most successful.

For the amount of the tenders, the work "Central Spigon of the Extension of the Port of Bilbao in the Abra Exterior" for 125 M €, and the "Railway Access to the Port Exterior of Ferrol" for 111.9 M €have been the highest tenders.

By Autonomous Communities, the Basque Country (145.28 M €), Catalonia (132.86 M €) and Galicia (128.68 M €) have been the Communities where the most port tenders have been made.
