The Valencian nautical hall will be held in the Marina Real Juan Carlos I in front of the EDEM headquarters and the old Alinghi base. With a wide range of new boats and two days of sea testing are just some of their new developments.

The Valencia Boat Show, a Valencian nautical hall that meets its eighth edition in 2016, will be held this year from October 31 to November 6 with a completely new strategy and concept. Proof of of this is the change of location of the contest, which will be held in the Marina Real Juan Carlos I as in the previous editions, but instead of being located in the surroundings of the building Veles e Vents will become in the interior dársena, in front of the old base of Alinghi and the headquarters of the school of entrepreneurs EDEM and the building of Lanzadera, the company accelerator that supports business leaders, both founded by Juan Roig, president of Mercadona.

One of the reasons for the change is the large number of vessels that will be exposed in the water, and that can be tested at sea, with a previous appointment with the shipyard, on 31 October and 1 November. "We needed a wide space in the water with easy manoeuvre for the ships present and that was more open and comfortable for the exhibitor," they say from the organization. In addition, the ground space is also wider and facilitates the distribution of stands, in a straight line and at sea level. The entrance to Valencia Boat Show will take place next to Tinglado No 2, with a tour that will pass next to the EDEM headquarters, the Lanzadera building and the old base of Alinghi ending next to the old port of call of Copa América. Access to the living room will have a price of 5 euros from Monday to Friday, and open doors during the weekend.

A wide range of new boats
Another major change introduced by the new Valencia Boat Show is the presence of the large European shipyards such as Azimut, Bavaria, Beneteau, Hanse or Jeanneau, among others, which will present a wide range of new ships including the 2016 new ones that have just been presented in the nautical hall of Cannes. In addition, companies such as Helimotor or Staynautica will come with a fleet of small motor vessels of the Sacks or Starfisher brands, among others.

The main brands of marine engines such as Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Pasch and Cia or Sole Diesel have also confirmed their presence in the competition, as well as nautical schools such as Dragut Nou or Avante or clubs such as the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia. Visitors will also be able to know the best insurance offer for their boat by the hand of Metropolis, Yachtsman or El Seguro of my ship, discover the latest trends in nautical fashion with Boats and Things, the official distributor of Helly Hansen or Seven Sea Moons, or acquire all kinds of accessories or on-board electronics.

Two days of sea tests
