In 420 the domain of the Nautico de Vigo is absolute, with Martin Wizner and Pedro Ameneiro as leaders
The Viguese world-wide tandem managed to unblock the previous leaders: Pablo Cabello and Javier Lago, after a fight without barracks, because in the three sleeves held made 1 ° -2 ° -1, while Cabello-Lago were 5 ° -1 ° -4 °. The third place for the moment is for the excellent crew of Hondarribia composed by Alain Arri and Jacobo Pérez. In the fourth place the world champion of vaurien, the Viguesa Alejandra Suárez that has on this occasion for proel to Mario Pérez, and in the fifth also the world subchampions but of youth category Miguel Rodríguez and David Fernández, who have been able to relegate the Extremans Fernández and Zapiain to the sixth square. In the eighth square there appears a very young pattern, son of one of the best rods of recent years: Alberto Viejo, who is competing with Jorge Taboada.

Laser 4.7 is for the Coruñesa fleet for the time being with Jorge Juan Tábara of the Nautico de La Coruña of the leader
In standard laser it dominates the Pontevedrés Rafael Campelo of the Real Club de Mar de Aguete, while in 4.7 and radial the color is totally coruñés with Jorge Juan Tábara and Roberto Bermudez de Castro respectively. In 420 that has many ships, Martín Wizner is the leader with Pedro Ramón Ameneiro as proel. In this category the domain of the Royal Nautic Club of Vigo is absolute, as its regatists take up the first eight places of the classification, the ninth being the pontevedreses Jacobo García and Nicolás Cons of the cited Royal Club of Mar de Aguete. In Canido, it follows the activity with about a hundred ships, and a lot of youth... and it is that one of these puppies may be in the struggle to be in the Spanish Team for Tokyo 2020.

First day: Horse - Lago leaders of the Spanish Cup of Vaien
The Viguese couple Pablo Cabello and Javier Lago are the leaders of the Spanish Cup of Vaien, which has marked the beginning of the Coca Cola Series as the first cycle of the Abanca Week. The state-wide race that the Canido Maritime Club is organizing, had a first idyllic day in the majestic Ria de Vigo, with stable winds of about 16 knots, sea curled and high temperatures, allowing the fleet to complete four full sleeves. By Saturday they join the Coca Cola Series, classes 420 and laser from 2: 00 p.m. before 11: 00 the Vaien will have started their tests.
Abanca Week could not begin better, which will count by the end of October to hundreds of the participating ships and athletes, in the Rías de Baiona, Vigo, Pontevedra and Sada, as well as on the Asturian and Portuguese coasts. The technical team of the Abanca Week in its first cycle, is of luxury, appearing in the same judges and jurors of Porto, Vigo, Villagarcía, La Coruña and León... but today they had it quite easy, because that treacherous beauty of the Ria de Vigo did not appear and the field of regats was splendid.
At three o'clock in the afternoon, the first departure was given, with victory for the current subchampions of the absolute world, Antonio Pérez Castro and Ana Santirso of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo. After them Alain Arri of the Nautical Club of Hondarribia, completing the winning triplet the former world subchampions Pablo Cabello and Javier Lago. After them, other Vigueses, Miguel Rodríguez and David Fernández, and in fifth place the world champion of the female category: Alejandra Suárez, who on this occasion has pro proel to Mario Pérez.
In the second manga Pablo Cabello made it clear that he wants to win with Javier Lago this Cup of Spain, by being able to impose on the current world subchampions of the class... what he would repeat in the third and fourth sleeves. For their part Antonio Pérez and Ana Santirso were second in the following two races, but in the third they were overtaken by Guipuzcoanos Arri and Pérez, falling in these three sleeves among the first the extremites of the Club de Vela Barlovento de Cáceres, José Ignacio Fernández and José Ramón Zapiain. The ships of the Nautico de Vigo, dominate along with Basque and Extremian.
Great level in this inaugural day, with many regatists of true international level, who have much to say in the medium term within the Galician and Spanish candle, its youth, its quality contrasted and the great palmaris of many of them, shown very few days ago in the waters of Viana do Castelo, where two oars (female and youth) and one silver (absolute) were achieved, leaves it to the clear. For the Saturday show guaranteed in the Ria de Vigo, with many ships, high quality and above all much youth: in action the vaurien classes on their second day, the pre-Olympic 420 and Laser 4.7 and the Olympic 470 (in radial and standard). The Abanca Week has only started in the Ria de Vigo.
