Day 6 - Light improvement of the Spanish Paralympics in the absence of a day for the end (16 / 09 / 2016)
The penultimate day of the Paralympic Games of Rio 2016 was intense. Two tests were held in all classes with a south-east wind that blew between 9 and 12 knots of intensity.
In class 2.4mR the Andalusian Arturo Montes remains in the tenth position after a day in which he made a ninth in the first manga and in the second he finished fourth after he was leading the test until half way, there he was overcome by the favorites such as the Australian Matthew Bugg and the French Damien Seguin. In the last sections he had an intense struggle with the German Heiko Kroeger, who would finish third and the British Helena Lucas who would finish sixth. Bugg is still a leader, followed by Lucas and Seguin. The three of you will play tomorrow at one last sleeve the color of the medals.
In Skud 18, the Sergi Roig and Violet baleares of the Kingdom marked two seven places that allow them to climb to the ninth position in the general. In the second trial of the day Roig and Del Reino were struggling to end up in the honorary posts and came to go for more than half of the third-place tour behind the Poles Monika Gibes / Piotr Cichocki and the Italians Marco Guslandris / Marta Zanetti, but the Spaniards could not stand the pace and finished the seventh test. The Australians Daniel Fitzgibbon / Liesl Tesch, in the absence of a manga, are the virtual Olympic champions as they draw 21 points to the Canadians John McRoberts / Jackie Gay, who are second. The third square is occupied by British Alexandra Rickham / Niki Birrell.
In Sonar the Catalan Paco Llobet and the Valencians Héctor Álvarez and Manuel Gimeno are ten quarters in the general after performing a tenth and a seventh, their best place to date in these Paralympic Games. The Australians Colin Harrison / Russell Boaden / Jonathan Harris, as well as their Skud 18 compatriots, are virtual gold Paralympic as they draw 24 points to the Americans Alphonsus Doerr / Hugh Freund / Bradley Kendell, one point behind, third are the Canadians Paul Tingley / Logan Campbell / Scott Lutes.

Day 4 - Spanish Paralympics are increasingly far from the head in Rio (15 / 09 / 2016)
Discrete day of the Spanish crews at the Paralympic Games of Rio 2016. On this fourth day of competition the 2.4mR played three sleeves and the Skud 18 and Sonar classes, two, with which all have already sailed eight tests. The wind blew over the 15 knots in Guanabara Bay. Australia has taken the lead in all three classes.
In Sonar 2.4mR, Arturo Montes, he was unable to repeat the posts achieved on Wednesday day and in the three tests this Thursday in the field of Escola Naval he made a tenth first, a tenth third and a tenth places that leave him in the eleventh place in the general. The British Helena Lucas has given up the lead and is second to a point of Australian Matthew Bugg. Third in the general is French Damien Seguin.
In Skud 18, Sergi Roig and Violeta of the Kingdom, they have sailed in Escola Naval, held a tenth and an eighth positions that keeps them in the tenth position. Two points of the Singapore crew, which is ninth, formed by Jovin Tan and Qian Yin Yap, who did not compete today, have been placed today. In the absence of four sleeves for the end, the Australians Daniel Fitzgibbon / Liesl Tesch, leaders, draw 15 points of advantage to the second ranked, the Canadians John McRoberts / Niki Birrell, who all point out that silver and bronze will be played.
In Sonar, Paco Llobet / Héctor Álvarez / Manuel Gimeno, they have risen a position and are ten seconds after performing a ninth and a tenth in the regatta field of Pao de Açucar. The Catalan-Valencian crew is tied to 75 points with the eleventh, that formed by the Irish John C. Twomey / Ian Costello / Austin O'Carroll. In the head of the table are the Australians Colin Harrison / Russell Boaden / Jonathan Harris, who, like their fellow Skud 18, also have well on their way to gold, with eleven points of advantage over the Americans Aphonsus Doerr / Hugh Freund / Bradley Kendell. The third position is more open, and is currently occupied by the British John Robertson / Hannah Stodel / Steve Thomas.
Day 3 - The wind returns to the bay of Guanabara and Arturo Montes scale positions in 2.4mR (14 / 09 / 2016)
The wind returned to the bay of Guanabara, so all the tests could be disputed on the third day of the Paralympic Games of Rio 2016. That is why the start of the competition was advanced an hour and thus to be able to recover the sleeves lost in the second day. It sprang over the 15 knots with the peas that reached 21, which at some times complicated the navigation of the fleet. Arturo Montes had his best day and marked a third and scale to the top ten in 2.4mR.
Class 2.4mR returned to action after being unable to dispute any evidence on the second day due to the loose wind. Today, three sleeves have been played in which Arturo Montes has gained his best positions and has placed ninth in the general. He began the day with a tenth, in the second test he sailed in the head group throughout the manga and crossed the line in third place behind the Australian Matthew Bugg and the French Damien Seguin. The British leader Helena Lucas remains, followed by Bugg and the German Heiko Kroeger, second and third respectively.
In Skud 18 Sergi Roig and Violeta of the Kingdom were able to face a day completely different from those lived to date and although two novies were marked, in the last test of the day were fifths, being of the few ships that managed to finish the test as there were three black flag (UFD), an unfinished (DNF) and an unreleased (DNS). Roig and Del Reino occupy the tenth position, once a discard has already been applied as six sleeves have been disputed. The Australians Daniel Fitzgibbon / Liesl Tesch, the British Alexandra Rickham / Niki Birell and the Canadian John McRoberts / Jackie Gay are the first without opposition.
In Sonar Paco Llobet / Héctor García / Manuel Gimeno they did not have their best day after they could not finish the first test, already in the second they marked a tenth and in the third a tenth. The Spanish crew is the tenth in the general. In the lead, the Australians Colin Harrison / Russell Boaden / Jonathan Harris, second the Americans Alphonsus Doerr / Hugh Freund / Bradley Kendell and third the New Zealanders Richard Dodson / Andrew May / Bradley Kendell.
With today's wind conditions, we have been able to recover all the evidence that could not be disputed yesterday, leaving five sleeves to be held in the last three days, from tomorrow to Saturday.
Day 3 - The low intensity of the leading wind in the Paralympics of Rio (13 / 08 / 2016)
The wind was the protagonist in the second day of the sailing at the Paralympic Games of Rio. After a deferral on the ground of about two hours, the Committees tried to take advantage of a soft breeze that entered early in the afternoon and that allowed the Sonar and the Skud 18 to fight a sleeve and the 2,4mR could not finish yours.
The Sonar were the first to compete in the field of Pao de Açucar, the Spanish crew of Paco Llobet / Héctor Álvarez / Manuel Gimeno began near the first, riding the first beacon in eighth position, but could not stand this position and it was falling until the end of the third final position, which puts them tenths in the general position. The only disputed evidence was won by Canadians Paul Tingley / Logan Campbell / Scott Lutes, who are second alone three points from the leaders, the Australians Colin Harrison / Russell Boaden / Jonathan Harris. The Greeks Vasilis Christoforou / Anargyros Notaroglou / Thodoris Alexas follow third.
In Skud 18 they sailed in Escola Naval. Sergi Roig and Violeta of the Kingdom also occupy the tenth position after a day in which all the manga were octavos, until the last beacon that they lost a position after they were overcome at the last moment by the Dutch Rolf Schrama / Sandra Nap. The Australians Daniel Fitzgibbon / Liesl Tesch continue to dominate the general with authority after winning today's test. Second are Canadians John McRoberts / Jackie Gay and third are British Alexandra Rickham / Niki Birrell.
The 2.4mR were the last to which a very low-wind exit was given, Arturo Montes sailed well located in third position in the first bars of the test behind the German Heiko Kroger and the Australian Matthew Bugg; while the leader, the British Helena Lucas was not comfortable with winds that barely exceeded the 3 knots. In view of the situation, the Regatas Committee decided to annul the evidence.
Day 1 - The candle begins to compete in the Paralympic Games of Rio 2016 (12 / 09 / 2016)

The general with three points is led by the Australians Colin Harrison / Russell Boaden / Jonathan Harris. The Sevillian was all over the day struggling to be on the top ten on the two sleeves, but finally stood at the doors tied to 23 points with the eleventh classified, the Malaysian Al Mustakim Matrin. In the double Skud 18 the Sergi Roig and Violet baleares of the Kingdom ended the day with a 9-11 that leaves them in the tenth position in the general with 20 points.
