The Vaurien medallists on the terrace of the Marítimo de Canido

The junior world champions of the Vaurien class were honored at the Canido Maritime Club yesterday afternoon. Tirso Cerqueira and Gonzalo Martínez achieved the world title of the class held in July in the waters of Viana do Castelo. Also from the Club de Canido were recognized for its eighth absolute position the crew formed by Alberto Basadre and Mario Pérez. In that act It also distinguished the crews of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, Tone Pérez and Santiago Moreno, who achieved the silver in Viana do Castelo, by proclaiming absolute world subchampions; as well as the sisters Alejandra and Patricia Suárez as winners of the female classification of this same world championship.

All of them will be part of the crew that will carry the recent boat that won the Ribeiro- Rias de Galicia Regata: the "Bosch Service Solution," patroned in that race by Ramón Ojea and with crew of the size of Chuny Bermudez de Castro, Arcadio Tizón, Charly Marla or Willy Alonso In the next race to be held this weekend in the waters of Baiona, the "Bosch Service Solutions" will participate with a crew composed of these boys and girls, who have led to the Galician candle to the highest world scale of the Vaien class, within the Spanish Team, flying the grills of two legendary clubs of the Galician candle: the Canido Maritime Club and the Real Nautical Club of Vigo.
