The Club de Mar Mallorca will host, from tomorrow Thursday to next Sunday, the Optimst class Spanish Team Racing Championship. Eight nautical clubs, representing their respective autonomous communities (with the exception of the Balearic Islands, which will have two teams), will participate in the race. The competition will be held in the waters of the Bay of Palma, in an area between Es Portitxol and the Cathedral of Mallorca, through the system called 'Round Robin', of direct clashes between the teams.

Tomorrow's day will be devoted to the confirmation of inscriptions, measurements and documentation verification. The first race of the Championship is scheduled for Friday at noon. The last sleeve will be held on Sunday. That same afternoon, the official trophy ceremony will take place at the headquarters of the Club de Mar Mallorca. The Spanish Team Racing Championship, organized by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV) and the Spanish Association of the International Class Optimist (AECIO) with the Coca-Cola Collaboration, brings together the champion clubs of this modality of each autonomy, as well as the organizing club team as a guest.
