Nautica Digital Europe

Porta y contrapelada del número 1 de la revista VelaEn blanco y negro preferentiamente, como son los años distanos en el que our sport, la veela was very "in" y practicado por la "jet" almost exclusively. On the avenue of the velistico quality, they were in the north... from east to west: the Real Nautical Club of San Sebastián, the Maritime Club of Abra, the missing Nautical Club of Bilbao, the then Nautical Club of Castro Urdiales, the Real Nautical Club of Laredo, the Real Maritime Club of Santander, the Real Astur Club of Regatas of Gijón, the Real Nautical Club of La Coruña, the Real Club of Regatas Galicia de Villagarcía and the Real Nautical Club of Vigo... had other clubs that were mentioned but they were the same.

In the sailing had circulated, in terms of publications in Spain, some attempts... almost always shared with other sports, case of rowing or engine... and not just in our country, also in Italy, France and Portugal. But in 1957 a sailing magazine was born, which would last less than the desirable, because it disappeared in the early sixties. The magazine was called VELA, its writing was in the Madrid street of Preciados number 23 and it cost each number the 12 pesetas friolera. It had measures 16.0 x 22.5, a somewhat more than quartilla format... very used at the time... that is the cover and back-up, added to the quality of the paper, flat and varnished colors!, all a luxury in the 1950s, in the same year that the Camp Nou is inaugurated in Barcelona.
