The Ministry of Development has published something like the 10 Commandments of the shipowner of a recreational ship

Recreation vessels of all kinds, regardless of the propulsion medium, with a hull length of between 2.5 and 24 metres, designed and intended for recreational and sports purposes, and carrying no more than 12 passengers are considered.

II. DOCUMENTATION NEEDS FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF A RECEIVING ENVIRONMENT

Concerning crew members:

• The qualification that attests to the ability to government a boat.

Concerning the vessel:

• Abandoning, Enrollment and Registration.
• The Patent of Navigation, for boats greater than 20 TRB of List 6, or seventh more than 24 meters.
• The Spanish registration certificate / navigation permit, in the case of boats of List 7, less than or equal to 24 metres without professional crew.
• The duly issued navigation or role licence for sixth and seventh lists with professional crew.
• The certificate of navigability which proves that it has carried out the relevant inspections and examinations.
• The insurance policy.

III. WHAT IS THE "CE" MARKET _

The CE marking of recreational vessels is a guarantee that the safety requirements for such vessels established by the European Union Directives are being met. The CE marking simplifies the flag / registration procedures for recreational vessels, given the safety margins it provides.

IV. Can I MATRICULTURAL THE ENVIRONMENT I HAVE COMPRADE OUT OF THE EUROPEAN UNION without CE MARKING?

Before registration, the CE marking shall be obtained by means of a conformity assessment procedure after its manufacture, as regulated by Article 6.1 of Royal Decree 2127 / 2004 of 29 October 2004 on the safety requirements of recreational vessels, nautical motorcycles, their components and exhaust and sound emissions of their engines. Once this marking has been obtained, registration may be applied for by submitting the documents indicated in Royal Decree 1435 / 2010 of 15 November.

V. How is the assessment of the conFORMITY with the potential of its MANUFACTURING, as set out in Article 6.1 of the Decent Royal 2127 / 2004, to be carried out?

This post-manufacturing conformity assessment is also called "CE post-construction" marking (or Post-construction assessment (PCA)).

In order to obtain the "CE post-construction marking" it shall submit the relevant application for post-construction assessment to a notified body. It shall also provide the notified body with any available documents or technical information relating to the first entry into service of the vessel in the country of origin.

The body shall examine the product individually and carry out the calculations and assessments necessary to ensure equivalent conformity with the requirements laid down in the Recreation Bars Directive. In this case, the phrase "Post-manufacturing certificate 'shall be entered in the manufacturer's sheet described in Part A.2.2 of Annex I to the Recreation Bars Directive.

The notified body shall draw up a report in accordance with the assessment carried out and inform the person putting the product into service of its obligations. The latter shall draw up a declaration of conformity, in accordance with Annex XV to that Directive, and shall place or cause the CE marking to be placed on the product, accompanied by the distinguishing number of the relevant notified body. A notified body must therefore be involved in this procedure.

VI. WHAT THE MATRICULATION OF EMBARATION IS AND WHAT PROCEDURE IS FOLLOWED TO OBTENT IT

Registration is a procedure whereby an alphanumeric identifier is assigned to the vessel, which individualizes it with respect to the others.

The person concerned shall be requested from the Maritime Captain or the competent Maritime District according to the port chosen for registration.

The procedure to be followed will vary depending on whether the vessel is assigned the CE marking or not.

VII. WHAT IS THE DISSPACHO?

The Office is the verification that a vessel meets the requirements of the legal order and has the necessary authorization to carry out the navigations and activities to which it is engaged or intended to be engaged.

On recreational vessels, unlike the rest of the vessels carried out for each entry or departure from a port, it is granted for a period of time normally consistent with that of the validity of the navigability certificate.

No dispatch shall be required for sailing-driven recreational vessels registered in a sailing Federation and also for motor-powered vessels with a size of less than 6 metres in length.

VIII. WHAT THE NAUTIAL ITB IS AND WHERE IT CAN BE REALIZED

To give us an idea, the nautical ITB is like the ITV for cars, that is, a series of inspections and surveys that are carried out regularly to the vessels in order to ensure that the boat meets the regulatory requirements for the navigability.

The initial inspection is carried out by the Maritime Administration and subsequent ones in the Collaborating Entities, within the time limits set by law, according to the characteristics of the vessel and the List to which it belongs.

IX. Is there a need to ensure that there is a need for the start-up?

Yes, it will be necessary to enter into insurance covering civil liability arising from material and personal damage caused by fault or negligence to third parties, port or maritime facilities.

Specific insurance will be required for participation in sports competitions covering civil liability for participants.

X. What is needed to be able to live with a NAUTIC MOTE
