TransMediterranean joins several airlines to offer Immfly as on-board entertainment

The shipping company joins Iberia Express, Volotea and XL Airways to offer Immfly, which obviously improves the quality on board.
About to reach 100 years since its entry into service, Trasmediterranean has trusted Immfly to offer entertainment content on board its ships. The Spanish company, which connects the main ports of the peninsula with the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands and North Africa, has already installed the platform on several of its ships, allowing passengers to enjoy a variety of leisure channels through their personal devices.
"We are very happy to implement the Immfly entertainment platform on board, as it is a great service that objectivelyimproves the experience of our passenger during the trip and that is differential in our sector "declares Juan Manuel Caballero de Trasmediterranio. "Although we are increasingly seeing such systems in aircraft that make long-term flights, in the ferry world this is a very innovative concept as it adds a mobility component that does not exist in the aircraft."Also, Jimmy M. von Korff, co-founder of Immfly, said that "this new agreement offers us the opportunity to act for the first time in an environment in which our platform will complement Internet access with the best downloadable entertainment channels easily".
Passengers can access the platform through their personal devices (mobile, computer or tablet) by connecting to a Wi-Fi network available on board, which allows them to either access the Immfly entertainment channel, or get Internet connection by paying a supplement. The platform can be accessed from the common areas of the ship and also from the 'preferential' class accommodation on the Fortune ship. So that passengers can easily become familiar with Immfly, several communication assets on board ships have been implemented, including digital screens, stickers on seats and voice ads. Once connected to the platform, passengers have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of entertainment content including films, series, news, channels for the smaller ones, music and magazines, available in Spanish, English, French and Catalan, depending on the lines. Passengers can choose whether to access the platform free of charge and enjoy limited access of 30 minutes, or otherwise pay a supplement through the platform or buy on-board bonds to have unlimited access to it. The Immfly solution is already available on the ships Tenacia, Snav Adriática and Fortuny, which operate Barcelona-Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona-Maó and Melilla-Málaga routes.
