The Nautico of Seville, champion of Spain of Alevines, Infantiles and Cadets
The Club Náutico Sevilla was raised with the Trophy Promotion that awards the club with best results in the categories alevín, infantile and cadet of the Spanish Olympic Remo Championship that has been held this past weekend in the facilities of the CEAR de La Cartuja. The Spanish club was the most laureate with a total of 11 medals - six oars and five sets - that led them to rise with the precious Trophy they already conquered in the 2014 season.
The Club Nataciò Banyoles, winner last year in its waters, ended in second position of the classification by clubs with a total of seven metals - four oars and three plates-; while the Royal Circle of Labradores was third - with three oars, one silver and one bronze - and the RCN Tarragona, fourth - with two oars and two bronzes. Remeros del Eo, Regatas de Alicante, Sant Carles de la Rápita, Santiagarrak, Barcelona Club de Rem, CN Helios, Kaiku, and Rem Delta, in this order, occupied the following positions of the final medallion, all with a gold. The competition, which began on Friday at 9 a.m., brought together 1,037 athletes from 64 clubs that formed a total of 453 boats. The high temperatures forced the race to be delayed on Saturday afternoon and to advance the beginning of the finals on Sunday day.
The champions of the CN Sevilla were proclaimed champions in 4xAF, 4xAM, 8 + IM, 4-CM, 2-CM and 8 + CM, in addition to the five plates harvested in 2xAM, 1xAM, 4xIF, 2xCF and 4xCM. The second classified CN Banyoles rose to the top of the podium in 2xIF, 1xIM, 4xCF and 2-CF. Labradores, on the other hand, took the wins in 2xAF, 2xCF and 4xCM.
