The Cartageneras Lola and Carmen Coello Manerios, of the SPAR South-East Sailing Team of the Cartagena RCR, added a few days ago to their already extensive palmaris in the L'Equipe double youth class. On this occasion the regatists of Cartagena took the national title of the class before a powerful fleet to exceed twenty units. Four intense days, from 26 to 30 June, where the established programme of 12 tests was completed. The best wind conditions were in the opening day, completing 3 tests with good partials for the girls of the Club de Regatas, started with a second and ending with two partial wins.

On the second day the wind conditions were no longer so good and the few 5 knots of intensity in Santander Bay allowed to complete two tests: 2-5. In the next two days little changed the intensity of the wind, although something better in the last one reached the 6 knots of intensity. In these three days the Coello sisters maintained a good regularity, key at the end of the championship. In the 9th trial they added a partial triumph, third in their locker. The Coello sisters concluded the championship with 25 points, the same as the Lola Fernández and Carlota García. Both crews also tied in the number of partial wins, three, so the first square was decided by the number of second positions obtained, and there the carthageneras were higher. The podium with the Coello and Fernández and García, were classified Diego López and Daniel Budia, from the CN Villa de San Pedro.
