With six days of race scheduled between the 1st and 6th of August and a social agenda of the most complete, the Real Club Nautico de Palma has finished the preparations for the most important appointment of the calendar.

The 35 MAPHRE Cup will be held in six intense competition days between August 1 and 6 and the participating fleet will be divided into eight classes: ORC 1, ORC 2, IRC 1, X-35, J80, Maxi 72, Swan 45 and GC32, the latter being the great novelty this year and will have up to eleven units of the so-called "flying catamarans."

In the absence of the teams to formalize their registration at the beginning of the race, today it is 121 ships that will fill with candles the field of the Majorcan races during the six days that will last the competition, and all points out that the quote will again be highlighted by the high internationalization of the fleet. Russia, Italy, Great Britain, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Chile, Argentina, Poland, Belgium, Sweden, Monaco, Japan, the Netherlands and the British Virgin Islands will be the 18 countries represented.

The MAPHRE King's Cup, in and out of the race field

As every year, the intense sports program the 35 Cup of King MAPHRE will be completed on land with a social agenda that is already a whole reference of the summer of Palma. Degustations, musical ambimentation at the end of each day, breakfast with fresh fruit, showroom in the Club's Magna Hall, the Festival of the Regatist, the traditional Armored Dinner and of course the Final Trophy Delivery are some of the activities that include the appointment of the Royal Nautical Club of Palma and which, without a doubt, make it one of the most expected events of the season.

The 35 MAPHRE King's Cup will officially begin on Saturday, July 30. The starting pistolet for the first test will be on Monday, August 1, and the competition will continue until Saturday day 6.
