The Bona Mar proclaims champion of Spain and already leads the Metromar Circuit
"La Bona Mar," patronized by the Valencian Víctor Oller, of the Moraira Nautical Club, has been proclaimed the 2014 Metromar Spanish Champion. The silver has fallen into the Catalan Pascual Durá, who covered a second exceptional day, of which he was a partial winner, and also obtained the Major Pieza, with an albacora of 21.18 kilograms. The table of honor was completed by the ships: 'Dacia', patronioned by Frank Neuman; the Calabuch, by Jorge Canet (Spanish Champion 2015); and the 'Clave de Luna, by José Luis Martínez, who was the winner of the 2013 Metromar-Mediterranean Circuit.
For its part, the club classification (Trofeo Martín Códax) has been dominated by the Nautico Club of Moraira, a town that has hosted this Spanish Metromar Championship of High Fishing. The Young Fisherman Award was for the Valencian Beltrán Martín of the Javea Nautical Club.
Sustainable fisheries
The closing day, like the previous one, was held with excellent weather conditions: winds of just 10 knots, very hot, and the curly sea. From this, those who currently make up the elite of sustainable sports fishing in Spain, managed to capture a total of 120 valid pieces in both days. These were certified by the research biologists of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography, displaced to the Alicantine town for this purpose: Lola Godoy and José Carlos Báez.

Lola Godoy and José Carlos Baez, gave the Spanish Matromar Championship, a quality plus as biologos- researchers sent by Spanish Institute of Oceanography: Sustainable Fishing by flag.
The only incident in the entire championship was a breakdown that caused a worrying water line on the Thunnus ship, armed by José Cabrera. The complicated situation made all the alarms jump in the first hour of Saturday, but the test security director, Tomás Solano, resolved this fact effectively and quickly.
The surprise on Saturday was the puncture of Lady Begonia, who did not catch any, leaving the places of privilege.
After Moraira's appointment, the Metromar Circuit moves to Santander, where from July 29 to 31 will take place the King's Cup, which organizes the Royal Maritime Club.

First day: 'La Bona Mar' is imposed on the first day of the Metromar High Fishing Circuit
"La Bona Mar," patronized by the Valencian Víctor Oller, champion of Spain in 2014, of the Moraira Nautical Club, has been imposed today on the first day to be marked for the Spanish Metromar Championship of Fishing of Height. On a day suitable for navigation celebrated with winds of ten knots from the south-west and the curly sea, 'La Bona Mar', with seven valid pieces and 72.60 points, has taken the lead ahead of Lady Begoña, Calabuch and Paradise, and, ahead, also of favorites such as the former world champion 'Audaz'.
For its part, the largest piece was Andre Aischman of the Jávea Nautical Club. The club classification (Martin Códax Trophy) has been dominated by the Moraira Nautical Club, a town that hosts the Metromar High Fishing Championship this weekend. On Saturday, the second and final test of the Spanish Championship is taking place in the town of Alicantina Moraira, located in the municipality of Teulada.
Large participation
About thirty ships from different clubs across the Peninsula, with 150 sports fishermen, have competed today in the Alicantina town of Moraira (Alicante). At an extraordinarily high level, the state championship is organized by the Spanish Federation of Fisheries and Casting and the Moraira Nautical Club. Together with the Copa del Rey (Santander), and the Copa de Catalunya (Cambrils-Tarragona), they make up the National Fishing Circuit of Metromar height 2016.
To highlight the participation of the considered Spanish number one: Pascual Durá, which is in competition with the legendary "Audaz" (this time, it is the Douqueve 12 meters "Dentón"). The Barcelona team includes Jordi Gómez, Alberto Gómez, Carlos Torres and Cristóval Miravet, and aims to achieve victory in Moraira, or at least be in the first. The "Audaz" project is to repeat the performance in Santander, in the King's Cup, and to win in the Metromar Circuit.
The Catalan athlete will not have it easy because in front he will have "Calabuch," by Jorge Canet, who is the current Spanish champion of the Moraira Nautical Club or "La Bona Mar" by Victor Oller of the same club, who won this award in 2014. Another of the favorites "Clave de Luna" by José Luis Martínez, based in Javea, who won the Metromar Circuit last year (Mediterranean).
The "Blau Cat" by José Sivera de Altea, "Lady Begoña" by Andre Aischaman, "Catch Me" by Guilhem Montagut and the ibicent "Favela Chic." A priori are the most powerful. The exit for the first sleeve at 6: 30 in the morning at the mouth of the Moraira Nautical Club.
