The Kieler Woche that has ended today in the waters of Kiel has been very fruitful for the Spanish crews. The German race, in addition to being part of the EUROSAF Circuit, included the 470 Junior World Cup and the J70 European. In the Junior World two Spanish crews have gone up to the podium, gold for the Silvia Mas and Paula Barceló baleares and silver for the Catalans Alex and David Charles and bronze in the European J70 for the ship patrolled by the Galician, Gonzalo Araújo. The Kieler Woche was also a unique race for the Spanish square of Laser Radial, which has won the canaria Alicia Cebrián.

Mas y Barceló arrived at the 470 Youth World Medal with a comfortable 14-point advantage and after being second in the Medal Race, they have won the World Cup with 22 points of advantage over the French Marie Lefort / Lara Granier and 25 ahead of the Greek Maria Bozi / Rafailina Klonaridou. The Balar crew of Silvia Mas and Paula Barceló is a step away from getting the world title of 470 Junior in female category after reaching the last day with the bronze pocket. In the male category the Catalans Alex and David Charles have lost their position on the podium, they are fourth, so they will have to make a last effort to end up in the medals, which have two points. In Laser Radial, the Tierfeña Alicia Cebrián is still on the rise and in the absence of a day has been placed fifth, being the best Spanish, and with the ticket for the Olympic Games in Rio, closer.

The 470 Junior World Championship, held within the framework of the German Kieler Woche race, leaves after three days of competition two Spanish crews at the top of the table.
