On Saturday, the Coruñese crew showed similar strength on Sunday watching their direct rivals, Roberto Bermudez de Castro and "Phis" Pardo (CN Marina Coruña).
Borja Pérez (RCR Galicia), Alexandre Tinoco (Marítimo de Mahón) and his Hotel Villagarcía first gave, by winning the initial race of the day. They started as they ended on Saturday, adding their third win in line, and the prize was greedy: provisional leaders in front of the third position of the Tábara.
A fifth place in the fifth race, penultimate of the memorial, still allowed Spanish and Dutch to lead the general
(8 net points), with the Tábara on the stalk (10 points) and another Coruñesa crew that had been in the fight, Esteban Martínez (RCN Coruña) and Martín Mijares (CN Marina Coruña), also with a dozen points.
But the third Sunday manga, sixth and last of the championship, was a disaster for Pérez and Tinoco: seventeenth. As their discard had been the first test (an UFD that cost them 19 points), they were out of the race for the title.
And the victory took the most constant crew. The Tábara signed a solid series (1-4-2-3--4- [13]), with the final sleeve as its discard to end with 14 net points. The Toro Rosso by Roberto Bermudez de Castro and Phis Pardo (CN Marina Coruña) had to conform to the subchampionship (2-9- [10] -4-2-1) with 18 net points. His second day was very good, but the bad Saturday marked Bermudez de Castro, champion in 2023 and 2025. The Tábara were subchampions last year... closing the Mariola podium of Esteban Martínez de la Colina and for Martín Mijares (3-2- [UFD] -2-3-11), who played in the final race won by Bermudez de Castro.
