The fleet of the XVI Interclubs of the Strait-Ceuta Emociona has held its second test of the calendar on Saturday on a day marked by the wind of Poniente and the high level of competition in the Bay waters. Under the organization of the Royal Gibraltar Yacht Club (RGYC), a total of 34 vessels took the exit in a demanding race that tested the expertise of the crews in one of the most dynamic nautical scenarios on the Andalusian coast.

The day began in the facilities of the Gambaltarean club with the traditional breakfast and the meeting of patterns. The fleet then moved to the exit line in front of Poniente de La Línea de la Concepción. After two attempts at departure, which were cancelled by technical problems, the race committee decided to make a joint departure for all classes at 13: 15, starting a tour of 6.30 nautical miles.

During the initial dyeing they highlighted the Moon (RCN Algeciras), which was the fastest to reach the beacon of barlovent and managed to maintain its leadership in real time until the end of the test. In that beacon, the Ceuta-Mahersa (CV Vendaval of Ceuta) took it second, followed very closely by the Altarik IV (CDN Saladillo). The classifications were thus... the next act, on April 18, by the Nautical Sports Club El Saladillo, in Algeciras.
