The National Olympic Sprint enjoys excellent health and the competitiveness of its palists is among the highest in the world as shown in the National Selective for individual ships, disputed in the Embalse de Trasona, to which more than 170 palists have registered for a total of 249 entries (Photo courtesy of the RFEP)
In these three days of competition, a part of the national team of the specialty has been decided that will come to the first two cups of the world, Szeged (8-10 May) and Brandenburg (15-17 May). In addition, these results are the basis for these same athletes to participate in the second National Selective for the formation of the team ships (K2, K4, C2 and C4), a second selective phase that will take place in Verducido (Pontevedra) on 9 and 10 April.
As stipulated in the Selection Criteria, for the tests that are Olympic distance, the first two classified in the A finals are the ones that will occupy these places in the first two world cups in Hungary and Germany, while in the rest of the tests only the first will be the one that will participate. This will have to take into account the possible incompatibilities that are marked by the technical management once the collective ships have been formed, but for the time being, the winners of these squares have been the following:
