The Malagueño Antonio Medina (RC El Candado), proclaimed Spanish champion just a week ago in Valencian waters, is now awarded the Spanish Cup at home after keeping its main rival, Catalan Guillem Segu, second to one point. Medina wins the absolute Spanish Cup and Sub 23 from the fifth place of the general, with the first four places occupied by foreign athletes among which the Slovak Robert Kubin wins
