The Municipal Sports Institute of the City of Cadiz and Los Gallos Spain SailGP Team have already signed the contract for the renewal of Failing Base Cadiz for a total of three years more than it has already been in operation, concluding this agreement by the end of 2028.

The international sailing training base in its foying mode will continue to develop its activity in the facilities of the Elcano Nautical Centre, where it has been increasing its action and reach since its inception in 2023. After the strong success of participation and impact that the base's activity offer has shown during the first three seasons of life in the city, it is expected, at least, to maintain the opening objectives.

Among the most professional sports profiles, Foying Base Cádiz has promoted the career of young Gaditan athletes, of which he has especially highlighted Sol López Navarro, who, even having recently joined the flying categories, has already crowned national and international podiums in the WASZP class. In addition, López has been the first gaditana to have been part of the training within the F50 integrated into the Spanish team of SailGP, with a view to being part of Los Gallos in the near future.
