After having had to suspend the day scheduled for February 7 due to the temporary Leonardo, the Mount Real Club of Yates will on Saturday give the gunshot to its sports calendar of 2026 with the start of the Winter League Baitra J80, one of the most outstanding monotypes competitions of the Spanish nautical landscape. The opening day of the liguilla will be held from 2: 30 in the afternoon in the waters of Baiona Bay.

It will be the beginning of a championship that will be extended during four rounds (21 February, 7 and 21 March and 11 April), with a real-time competition format, barlovento-sotavento tours and a maximum of three tests per day. In total, twelve sleeves to win the final victory of a competition in which regularity will be the key.

On the exit line we will see 25 boats, mostly from the J80 fleet based in Mount Real Club of Yates, but also from other Galician and Portuguese clubs. These include the New Moon of Juan Luis Tuero, the April of Chisco Catalán, the Namásté of Luis de Mira, the Solventis Ribadeo of Malalo Bermudez and the Tres60 of Alejandra Suárez. The Okofen of Javier de la Gandara, winner of the previous edition, will also take place.
