The Barcelona Winter Series will hold its penultimate event coinciding with the Régate Annuelle in Mer de la Société Nautique de Genève (Fotos Oscar Torveo)

The Reial Club Nàutic of Barcelona will host from 20 to 22 February the sixth and penultimate meeting of the Barcelona J70 Winter Series, a race that this time will match the celebration of the Régate Annuelle in Mer de la Société Nautique de Genève (SNG), strengthening the international character of the event and the collaboration between the two entities.

La Régate annuelle en Mer de la SNG, addressed to the J70 and ORC classes, will be held in Barcelona waters under the organization of the Société Nautique de Genève and the Real Club Nautico de Barcelona. This coincidence will make the weekend one of the most outstanding quotes of the winter season in the Mediterranean... in the class J70, the list of pre-registered has already 35 teams from 12 countries: Austria, Hungary, Turkey, Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, Portugal, Germany, Denmark, France and Spain, once again consolidating the international dimension of the Barcelona circuit.

The provisional general classification of the Barcelona J70 Winter Series is currently led by HSN Sailing Team, which heads the table with 118 points. In second position is Bodega Can Marlès, with 166 points, while Noticia occupies the third square with 196 points. They complete the top five Let it Be, with 280 points, and Diva, with 325 points, in a classification that begins to define positions without the last date of the championship in March

For its part, a dozen ORC vessels will join the competition on Saturday and Sunday, competing in an independent race field, allowing the simultaneous development of both classes under optimal conditions.
