The Andalusian Olympic windsurfer Pilar Lamadrid has opened the season with a solid performance in the iQFOil Games of Lanzarote, where it has ended in the tenth place of the general and first Spanish, in a race marked by the technical demand and the experimentation of new competition formats.

The CN athlete Puerto Sherry, a Spanish representative at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, is now facing her new campaign with the look on Los Angeles 2028, and the launch has served as an important test of control within her sports planning. The test, which was held for four days plus the medal race, has also served as a test bank for the new formats that the international federation is studying to implement in the next Olympic Games, with more compact programs and fewer days of navigation. During the four days of competition, tests could be held regularly, although the last day was marked by a very unstable wind that prevented completion of the planned program.

The windsurfer will now continue its calendar in Andalusian waters, where she will participate in the Andalusian Olympic Week, which will be the Spanish Cup, and in the iQFOil Games of Cadiz, which will allow her to continue to refine her preparation before the first major international goal of the year, the Princess Sofia Trophy of Palma, in spring.
