The Royal Nautical Club of Calpe will host the national meeting from 16 to 18 October

Calpe will be the new stage of the Spanish Cruise Championship - Lotteries Trophy with Sport 2026, which will be held from 16 to 18 October under the organization of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation and the Royal Nautical Club of Calpe.

The 18 teams classified through the territorial races will be able to participate in the championship. The competition format, released in 2022, remains true to its essence and will again bet on short fleet tests with direct judgment at sea, which will allow a progressive classification until the great end of Sunday.

A system that guarantees dynamic and very equal sleeves on board mono-type Tom 28 ships provided by the Royal Nautical Club of Calpe, offering a very different show to the traditional cruise races with time compensation. For crews who achieve their place in this national competition, registration will be free and the accommodation costs will be borne by the organization, thus strengthening the sports and accessible character of the championship.

The Royal Nautical Club of Calpe celebrates its 50th anniversary this 2026 and within these celebrations is the organization of this championship. The Alicantino club collects the witness of the Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona, an exemplary host that has contributed decisively to the success of the latest editions of the Lotteries Trophy with Sport.
