The Royal Spanish Vela Federation has already prepared the road map for the Iberdrola League 2026, which will decide on the title of Spanish champions. In its sixth edition, the circuit, consolidated as a reference for the national women's sailing, will revisit the Spanish geography with five events that promise maximum competitiveness and strategic growth in participation.

Calendar 2026: from Getxo to the great final in Altea

The season will maintain the success format of the previous editions, with four two-day events, held on the weekend, and a large three-day final that will match the October bridge. The selection of headquarters responds to the policy of rotation of the Spanish Federation of Vela, seeking to bring the competition closer to all the Spanish coasts, always under the technical requirement of having fleets of monotypes that guarantee the equal conditions and the highest level of sports.

The teams will consist of five women in four of the events, and four crew members in the September test. In order to be able to score on the annual circuit, two crew components must be fixed, while the rest can rotate throughout the season. The Iberdrola League remains a low-budget circuit. The organization provides the single-type vessels at each headquarters and, beyond registration, the equipment must only bear the costs of travel and accommodation.
