About the Superyacht Cup Palma

The Superyacht Cup Palma was born in 1996 in Palma. And today, 20 years later, what began as a 'holiday end' of the megayate sailboats leaving the Mediterranean to move to the Caribbean has become one of the most prominent events on the European race agenda of this category.

In 1995 this competition adopted a more serious and professional profile. A race that over the years has won adept and, above all, popularity. In 2012 the Superyacht Racing Associaton (SYRA) was born to represent and defend the interests of the participants in the superyacht races and, above all, to improve the quality of the races and turn them into completely safe competitions.

Precisely safety is one of the most important elements of the Superyacht Cup Palma along with fun both inside and outside the water.
