The 34-meter-long Baltic 111 Raven has rewritten the high-sea performance limits of the monocascos, winning the IMA Transatlantic Trophy and setting a new record in the Transatlantic Race Regatta from Lanzarote to Antigua, designed and organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club.

Raven Crew: Brad Jackson, Carlos Hernández Robayna, Charlie Wyatt, Claes Nyloef, Corrado Rossignoli, Damien Durchon, Daryl Wislang, Dean de Groot, Simbad Quiroga, Julien Cressant, Justin Slattery, Pablo Arrarte, Robbie Naismith, Roger Samuelsson, Rudi van Velzen, Tony Mutter, Will Oxley. Capitalized by Damien Durchon, the Raven crossed the finish line at 30 knots of speed in front of English Harbour, Antigua, on Sunday, January 18, completing the Atlantic crossing of 3,000 nautical miles in just under seven days, an extraordinary achievement. Light for its length, supported by foil and designed to support very high average speeds for days at a time, Raven represents a new chapter in the design of maxi yacht offshore. For the navigator Will Oxley, who also led the Comanche to the record of single places on the RORC Transatlantic Race to Grenada 2022, the comparison between the two ships highlights how radical Raven is.
