The competition has brought together 46 regatists from ten countries, strengthening the positioning of Barcelona as a key node within the international calendar of founding classes. Despite highly demanding weather conditions, six valid tests could be completed over three days, demonstrating sound and results-oriented operational management

On Saturday, 20, weather storms and alerts prevented the planned programme from being developed. On Sunday, the perseverance of the team of the Barcelona Nautico, with more than seven hours continued at sea, allowed to dispute two tests well into the afternoon, practically to the limit of the sunset. Finally on Monday, the ground wind of the Vall del Besòs allowed to complete four tests, closing the program with sports guarantees.

the sports field, Pablo Astiazaran Pérez-Cela (RCN Barcelona) was proclaimed winner of the race, after a high-level struggle with Federico Bergamasco (Italy). The absolute podium was completed by Hippolyte Gruet (France). In the female category, the victory was for Sol López Navarro (Elcano Nautical Center), followed by Louise Metenier (France) and Julia Gebhard (Germany).

The Barcelona WASZP Eurocup Final was also the last test of the European circuit WASZP 2025, proclaiming the circuit champions to Julia Gebhard (Germany) in the female category and Federico Bergamasco (Italy) in the male category.
