Victor Palomo Juez, born in Barcelona on 25 May 1949, was a Spanish sportsman who reached the highest levels in three sports as complicated and different as Nautical Skiing, Alpine Skiing and Motocyclism. In two of them he achieved planetary cetros... when he proclaimed himself the world champion of nautical skiing (slalom, gold in Copenhagen) and 750 cc in motorcycles; while he was making memorable performances in alpine skiing. A cardia deficiency (Girona, 11 February 1985) truncated a young life, in which for its youth it was intended to give much more glory to Spanish sport, leaving us at only 36 years of age.
In the world of motorcycles he had very bright moments... winning the Spanish Grand Prix for Motorcycling corresponding to the World Championship held on the Montjuïc circuit in 1974 in the 350 cc category. In 1976 he won the FIM (International Federation of Motorcycles) trophy in the 750 cc category the following year this same championship won the World Championship rating. Victor finished sixth in 350 cc that Walter Villa won in Aermacchi Harley- Davidson.
To highlight that he had a serious accident in the 24 Hours of Montjuïc race held on July 6, 1979, where when he was done at night, he had an impact on a change of track with another motorcycle that went without lights and broken. The crash was so strong that Victor's bike broke in two and he was about to lose his leg. After this accident he still ran the world championship in the 500 cc category with some good results. At the Yugoslavia Grand Prix in July 1982 he had another accident in which the pelvis was broken.
