The Landmark 43 Ivana & Aleks went to defend the title of IRC 1 with high expectations and more than met, achieving its fourth consecutive class victory and crowning the absolute IRC Middle East Championship champion. The second place in IRC 1 was for the Clair de Lune Jr, by Gaetan Herve, with five points of advantage over the Matrix, by David Blackwell.

In IRC 2, the first partial victory was for Mark Nolan's Bluey, but after debuting with a third, the Kanaloa started the rallying, imposing for just a few seconds on the Bluey in time compensated in the following two tests, enough to achieve the victory of the division

In the Cruiser division, the victory was the Al Awal of Ed Shiffner ahead of the Wanderlust, co-armed by Jon Woodrow and Colin Campbell. Shiffner, DOSC's comedian and IRC's local representative, was delighted to see such a large participation in Dubai

The IRC 3 division contested three short tests and one coastal one. The Jolly Jumper of Demos Stogiannidis dominated the long race with an advantage of almost 45 minutes in compensated time. However, the three consecutive victory streak of the Just Us in the trials between the batons was sufficient for the ship of Saien Rietjens to rise with the general victory of the division.

Final podium in Dubai

The next major event of the winter season in the region is the Dubai to Muscat Race, a 360-mile height test that begins on January 31, 2026.
