The J70 class has completed its last race scheduled for 2025 this weekend and has done it all the way up. In the City of Condal, the fourth event of the International Barcelona Winter Series organized by Real Club Náutico de Barcelona was held since September with a monthly event. For its part, the Galician fleet has returned to Vigo to fire the year, also this weekend, after having sailed the previous months the Atlantic Winter Series in Cascais. Finally on the exit line there were a total of 29 teams from 10 different countries such as Hungary, Portugal, Poland, France, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Lithuania and Spain.

The triumph was for the German Diva, who remained very solid and in the first place since the beginning of the trophy and also, on the second day he was able to sign three first and one fourth, which gave him a certain margin of points to face the last day, in which he again won one more race but also made his two worst (ninth) results, accumulating a total of 27 points after the discard of his worst race. The best Spanish ship has been the HSN Sailing Team, which although it was on the first day in the fifth provisional square, after two sleeves (5th and 3rd), it was able to remount and on Saturday it was already second even though it had not won any of the following four sleeves (2nd, 3rd, 5th and 5th). On Sunday instead, it was when the canary team with Javi Padrón to the cane, Guti del Castillo to the tactic, Ricardo Terrades to the trimming and Adolfo López to the bow, signed their best day winning 2 of the 4 sleeves that were sailed and only 3 points from the champion with 30 points in total.

The bronze fight was also very exciting and three ships could take him to the last day. The Danes of the Sassy, winner of the last event, the Spanish Noticia de Luis
Martín Cabiedes and Sirena, a new Danish who had not yet sailed in Barcelona. It was the latter that was most solid and regular and went up to the third podium drawer with 43 points after discarding, Noticia was fourth with 46 points and Sassy had a day more mediocre on Sunday and finished fifth with 53 points.

After 34 relegated sleeves and 5 accumulated discards, the HSN Sailing Team (RCNB / RCNGC) finalizes its provisional classification leadership with 94 points in its locker, followed by the Catalan Bodega Can Marlés (CN Vilanova) in second position with 149 points and Let it Be (CN Denia), by Marcelo Baltzer, who for the moment remains third with 215 points, having been disputed a series a month since September. After Christmas and with the arrival of the new year, the season will continue and the Barcelona Winter Series will still have three more events to conclude, which are scheduled for the months of January (23-25), in February from 20 to 22 and in March from 20 to 22, coinciding this last winter series with the first of the Barcelona Spring Series.
