Great atmosphere in the herculine city, in the face of the final act of the concept A Coruña Náutical Festival, which from the hand of the Club Náutico Marina Coruña and the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, will bring together in its waters two nautical sports: one at the level of the elite of the disciplines of the Wakesurf and Wakeboard and another at the level of the base, such as the candle of optimist that will bring together 150 units from all the northwest, with representation of all the fleet from the Miño to Eo... and the participation of those that are not the true, but to a reality of the future.
The news was made official this Sunday, with the confirmation of the presence of the current wakesurf world champion: Nina Ryzhenkova; her presence is joined by the official one last week of the Catalan Noah Tamaral Torres, who is the European wakeboard subchampion, the award in which she has been located both in 2025 and 2025.
The new specialties born to the socaire of the nautical ski, are taking on great importance because they have characteristics that make them a sports product of many carats. Basically located in our country in general in inland waters... where are the examples of Galician tracks of Cortegada, Barra de Miño and Castrelo in Ourense; or the Pontevedresa of Tui... or in the large reservoirs especially of Castilla la Mancha and Castilla León; they have always had a maritime vocation.

The Coruñesa commitment to start competitions as exhibitions in its splendid era has been welcomed by sympathy and as a real possibility to start new paths in its development. Of the possible desirable success in the waters of the Gulf of Artabre, other areas are pending... case of the Rias of Vigo, Pontevedra and Arousa; they are already thinking of creating ski slopes as was the case before.
So suddenly success is assured with the presence of about 25 high-quality Riders, with athletes who already know what it's like to win a medal in a European Championship or a World Cup. For this reason, given the high level of the participants, the organizers schedule an hour of exhibition of the stars of wakeboard and wakesurf in the area of O Parrote between 12.30 and 13.30, before it will be the great end... and is that the nautical world is speculating that the Riders will succeed in their experience back to the coruñese waters.
At the same time, the optimist competition organized by the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, which will have 150 ships from all over the north-west, will be at stake in Trofeo Aurelio Fernández Lage-Cidade da Coruña de Vela Base. As in the Bay of Baiona by the hand of Monte Real, when Toya Alonso (mother of Javier Gandara) was the number one of Galician nautical ski... and the little ones competed in optimist.
